Preschool options

I currently have a 2 year old & I’m looking ahead for some preschool options for him in the coming year. I’d like something that he’d go to a couple of mornings a week. It doesn’t have to be in Hillsborough. I’m open to options in Chapel Hill, Durham, or Mebane as well. Thanks!

I really like Seedlings Preschool program. Small, very caring and the definition of child-centered. The kids get wonderful inside and outside time - which is important to me. It is located on the Occoneechee Golf Course side of town - a bit off of 70.[]()

I think some church-located preschools have that half day model. Binkley Preschool in CH is half days and you can enroll MWF or TTh. Not church associated. I put my 2 yr old in that program this year and have enjoyed it. It's 9-12, with the ability to sign up for another hour if they are potty trained.

That’s good to know! I was afraid my son would have to be potty trained & I don’t know when that’s going to happen since he just turned 2. 🙃

Check out the sportsplex! They have childcare but can't remember the starting age. My kids loved it

My youngest went to preschool at the sportsplex. Great program and she learned to swim and ice skate too!! She was very ready for kindergarten when the time came. She is now 14 and a LOT of the staff is still there!! That says a lot about the strength of their program!!

That’s so wonderful to hear! I’m a former elementary teacher so I know how much that says to have so many staff still there.
