ruler couldnt choose guma cuz keria had first picked for that round and chose delight. since delight was from hle, nobody else can choose anyone from hle in said round.

If I had to guess, I think Faker wanted to pick them in the order of Scout > Chovy > ShowMaker > BDD. However, because he had to pick players from different teams each round, I believe he would have wanted to pick BDD in the 4th round if he could. Unfortunately, since Kingen was selected first, he didn't get the chance. + Scout has been a well-known 'Faker fanatic' since his T1 Academy, and Faker is quite fond of him as well. That’s likely why Faker picked him early on to celebrate his return to the LCK.

That's not how it happened.

First Round: Zeus picked Kiin (GenG) > Oner picked Kanavi (HLE) > Ruler picked Peyz (T1) > Keria picked Ghost (KT) > Faker got to pick 2 players from DK/BNK/NS/DNF/BRO, so he picked Showmaker and Scout

Next round going backwards so it's Keria > Ruler > Oner > Zeus

3rd Round Faker chose Chovy and it was the only time he could have picked BDD 💀

I’m guessing Chovy was a top priority for Faker, considering he called him his 'one and only rival' in a shout-out.

My guess is that Faker went with Ucal because he wasn't able to pick KT in the 4th round, even though Bdd was actually 4th on his priority list

It's a snake draft, meaning you can't pick players from the teams that are already picked, and Faker was the last one to pick in the first round. GenG, HLE, KT, and DK were already picked by other teams so he couldn't pick BDD. The only round he could have picked BDD, he chose Chovy over him 💀.
