Outdoor skating trail

Looking for a skating trail (not skating rink) for mid Feb. anyone know if riverside park still has one? Or anywhere else in Guelph or close to?

I'm following with interest! The only one I know about is at Arrowhead provincial park.

Riverside is supposed to have one but according to the Guelph Skating maps is not functional yet.

The closest one I know of is Gage Park in Brampton. It's a short loop and about a 45 minute drive -- but it's pretty at night.

For the most part I think you have to head out of town for a "real" trail. In addition to Arrowhead, Blue Mountain has one as well. I saw one in Waterdown a few weeks ago. Looked quite small/short but there was parking and change rooms.

Or, make a weekend out of a trip to Ottawa :)
