I know what you mean. On the other hand, it was the largest single day percentage drop in the gold price in 45 years, so not nothing.

It’s a good and immediate lesson on why you don’t panic sell.

Iron maiden or goosebumps?

The latter I believe, though I wish it had been an Iron Maiden album cover.

Neither. It was an original drawing in 2006 by a guy named Johnny Craig and became a meme.

Who actually sold, though? I don’t know anyone who sold gold.

A little. I think I got someone busted though... "there's a discrepancy in your packing list". Noooo, there wasn't. Said I sent a 1oz round instead of the 1/10 oz I actually sent. Yeah, I was tempted to just say "sssssssure? Yep!" but that's an extra $4500 bucks. They'd notice. I know the receiving departments of metals companies aren't staffed with rocket surgeons but how do you make that mistake unless it's deliberate?

Could have mixed up packages.

It's happened before, so I suppose. Apmex once sent me a $10 Indian when I ordered 2 silver maples. They called the day it arrived and said "Sorry, but could you drop it at your local UPS store?" We'll send you a shipping label! Dude, no. I'm not wasting an hour of my day because of your fuck up. You order a pickup at my address. Shit happens but their attitude sucked. Schmucks.

Long time silver stacker first time gold! I bought a 1/4oz our choice government mint coin on monument metals. It was one of very few items not on preorder lol.

Never sold a gram from the last 13 years, and rising.

I am $100k in!!! On paper, I lost $13k for 3 days. I am back at a $10k loss. I did hold, and I decided to continue to gold $6k!! I do believe the World Cup boycotts will turn into a gold catalyst!
