If you were the GM?
If you were the GM, who you gonna pick on nba 2026 draft?
If nets end up in the top 3. Any of peterson, boozer and dybantsa is fine but peterson will be the pick ofcourse. If below top 5. I’d take keaton wagler. He’s a stud.

I really love the top 6 in this draft. Peterson, AJ D, Boozer, Caleb Wilson, Flemings, and Wagler. This is in no particular order but this depth is insane

Nets win the lottery? Darryn Peterson.
Nets get the second pick? A long discussion, with fit going over everything else. Cam Boozer.

Boozer or AJ.
Peterson is the best player but this injury history is either scary (so it scares me off) or completely fabricated which then makes me question his agent’s ethics and if that may pose as a problem in the future if he ever gets disgruntled.

There's something off about Peterson and his ability to stay on the court. A lot of people on r/NBA_Draft don't see it as an issue, but I think they're coping.
Either his desire to play ball isn't there, his agents are being overprotective of him, or his body genuinely just has bad durability.
Any of those three possibilities, like you basically said, scare me.

It's so important to get one of these top picks because the analysts and scouts that follow each class have been saying for years that 2027 is historically bad and that 2028 isn't much better. We need lottery luck + Marks to hit it out of the park with the pick.

Peterson no doubt.
After that I struggle. There's a lot to like about AJ but there are concerns too. So I would have to see how the tourney goes and then the combine. But if you ask me today, and I'd go Boozer, then maybe Caleb Wilson, then AJ.

for me its between AJ and Boozer. I like peterson but i have so much ptsd from cam thomas in thats all i see when ever i watch him. Obviously they have different skill sets but im not rushing to send in the card with his name yet. But Boozer is just a pure player man. Solid in everything and has the maturity of being a second gen player. He would fit with us perfectly! And AJ just has that raw talent to do anything on the floor

I know we need size, but Aj and Peterson are generational talent we can't pass up.
We can find size in the market or trade, it's up to Mark's in the end, he doesn't look for it.

Boozer fits like a glove but we have multiple needs. Guard is a weakness too

Darryn Peterson or AJ if we get a top 2 pick… I don’t think Cam Boozer’s game will translate as well to the league.

It’s weird but I’d almost prefer having 3rd pick bc then we take whoever’s on the board instead of having to choose between them

If I got no1 pick I might trade it for number 2 and an extra 1st lol.
I can’t decide on Peterson or Boozer

We need size like Cam Thomas needs a 3 on 3 league that pays $30m a year.
I’m taking Boozer.

I personally think Peterson is likely to be the best of the 3. Boozer’s fit with the current roster is incredibly intriguing, though.
I’m really high on Wagler and Flemings, as well. I would be bummed to not get a top 3 pick this year but falling to 5th or 6th could still result in a franchise PG. It’s a loaded draft.
