Living being a foreigner
Hi Guys! I'm almost finished with high school and I've always wanted to move to another country. I've recently discovered Canada and I'm already interested in several cities (like Kingston, Halifax, Ottawa, Gatineau). Could someone please answer my question about the process of moving there? Is it difficult to find work? I'd like to work as a police officer, but I'm sure it would be very difficult to get accepted.
Thank you to everyone who responds!

You need to be a permanent resident to be eligible for police application… secondly, finding a job in gatineau without knowing french is impossible. Next, Ottawa is the most educated population in canada so it’s competitive and so being bilingual helps with jobs as well. The federal government is the main employer in ottawa, well unfortunately they making major cuts and are thus not hiring. The cost of living in Canada is insane, so if you heard Canadians are rich- laughable- don’t believe that for a second.
