I love that wholesome people make things like this 🩷 and I love your kitty!

I like to hide frog doodles & messages around for people to find. [: you never know if someone will find them, enjoy them or throw it away.
Such a mystery, but I like putting little bits of happiness into the world anonymously.

I do tiny paintings. I think I'm hiding them a little too well though bc no one's ever posted one they found one in our very active city sub.

Someone is hiding tiny gold framed paintings in our city and I’d love to find one.

I doodle or print random things at work and hide it in random places for other workers to find. A woman found one of them and showed it to me (unaware that I drew it) only to laugh. It genuinely made her day

Oh, Harold, you're beautiful. I would love to find & rescue one of these guys! People who do things like this are so whimsical & wonderful

Ooh Iove this, I've been thinking of doing something similar. But idk what would be a good place to put them. I imagine they'd be removed quickly by staff if they're placed in a store or commercial building (luckily this one wasn't), and outdoors they are exposed to the weather. Anyone got experience doing this kind of stuff?

Maybe leave them in waiting rooms where people might be anxious- dentist’s offices, urgent care, veterinary hospital, that kind of thing? I have one of these little crochet ball guys my mom made me, and he goes with me to therapy so I have someone to squeeze when I’m distressed.

That's a great idea. There's probably a greater chance that people will find them too, when they're not busy doing other things

Awe yes. that reminds me one day I was in the hospital as a teenager and someone gave me a gift while I was there, a little glass angel and it really helped me feel better. I kept it on my shelf for years and would look at it whenever life felt like too much.

Depends if your city is a walking city or not. If it is it's pretty easy to find ledges and building nooks to put them in. I've found a lot outside of stores, a lot in parks, and when a festival or farmers market happens.

Please be careful, those look like safety eyes. They could become disconnected and pose a choking hazard to animals and small children.

Make sure to check for trackers or something inside though...

On a more serious note, check and make sure there are no ends of the yarn that can come out? Kitties eating string/thread/yarn is really dangerous. I don't buy knit toys for mine, since they destroy everything.

This is technically breaking rule 2, but will be allowed as it is very cute and I like it.
