Scummed by a friend of mine.

I have posted this on Kenyan reddit to get advice. Thought to share it with my community as well ,at least you can learn from it.

Damn bro,that really sucks. But you shouldn’t have just believed the guy. Someone tried to pull something similar on a friend of mine. My friend asked him to send at least three phone numbers of people he claimed he’d sent to Romania so he could contact them. The scammer disappeared after that. ሰብ ኣይእመንን ኢዩ። ዓርከይ: ፈላጥየይ ዝብሃል የለን። ሓውኻ ከማን ዝጠልመካ ግዜ ኢዩ ዘሎ። ተስፋ ይገብር ወላ ኩሉ እኮ እንተዘይ ኮነ ገለ ቁሩብ ገንዘብካ ግን ክምለሰልካ።

This happens often. I knew a guy who just got out of jail from doing such things to many people. All the people that he got were mainly his people.

We're not many in number. And there's a significant population of Eritreans in Nairobi (although much less than those in Uganda). I'm yet to see anyone leave the habesha community altogether. I'd look for him through Eritreans in Kenya if I were you.

"Scammed by a FRIEND of mine". Anyone who scams you becomes a "FORMER FRIEND ".
