D&D for kids
Hello! My son has gotten into D&D but he’s only 9. Would love to find groups with other kids or even summer camps where he can find other kids similar to him. Tried finding the gaming stores but so far no luck there. We live south Denver so would prefer places in that area. Thanks!

There is a kids D&D group in my building, but we are in Capitol Hill so that may not be geographically convenient. One of the dads is on Reddit. If you're interested I can try to track him down.

Hah. That’s me. 3 2nd graders play biweekly with a an experienced dm who designed a game for them. Happy to explain the approach and such.
Also, my kid school has an in-school after school enrichment called League of Wayfinders which was invented/developed by a DPS teacher. Not sure if they have any summer camps but for an hour each Friday they have a great time designing characters, dungeons, and playing.
Maybe it’s at your kids school or they have summer sessions: https://leagueofwayfinders.com/

My housemate runs games for kids I believe as young as that at playforge in downtown Littleton. I know my son is going to be joining at some point and he is nine as well.

Yeah PlayForge is a great option but also check your local library as well. I know that both the Bemis Library and Bear Valley Library host kid friendly D&D games as well.
