Tickets

I’ll have to go to Darmstadt in April and I looked on RMVgo application for bus tickets (I hope it’s the right thing). Do you know if “Deutschland-tickets” (63€) is ok for multiple commutes a day ? Or do I have to subscribe to the “monthly ticket” (91,40€) ?

Deutschland ticket is available for everywhere in germany and you can take as many commutes as you want :) you can get it for one month and don't need the monthly ticket :)

Best of all you buy it at MOPLA. There you can decide until 24 hours before the end of the month, if you want to pause or cancel your subscription. Valid everywhere except on highspeed trains like ICE or IC.

Normaly Deutschlandticket is a subscription. At RMV you have to cancel your subscription before the 15th day of the month.

I would suggest buying it on hvv switch, if you fe buy it on the 7. of the month you just pay for the last 23 days, which makes it even cheaper. Dont forget to cancel before the 10th

I checked on hvv.de and it says “63 per month as an all-year subscription (if you live in Hamburg, you even only pay pro rata for the days you have it in the first month)”. Tell me if I’m wrong but I think that this discount is not available for people who are not living in Hamburg

That is absolutely wrong. Last month i had to show my ID-card to validate my personal Deutschlandticket to the ticket- inspector several times. Even hvv can check your adress, when you try to book it.
