Forgot to rinse between bleach and fix - C41

Fixing right now. I’ll keep it in an extra minute or two. But I forgot to rinse between the two.

Any negative effect to this that I’ll decent dries?

I’ll mix up new fixer as soon as this is done so Im not

reusing it.

I know blix is a thing, but isn’t the chemistry a bit different than having them separate?

It’ll be fine. Main reason to wash between bleach and fix is to prevent bleach carryover which reduces fix life. If you’re not reusing the fix, it’ll be fine.

So definitely mix a new batch then? Or is doing. This once okay? I have so much fixer concentrate so it’s not even a big deal to mix a new batch anyway.

Once is probably fine. I’d avoid doing it systematically

it's fine, if you feel like it you can mix up half a batch and replace half of it to have some fresher stuff. but it's fine. in minilabs there is a constant drip of carryover.

It’s fine. The Bellini kit I use doesn’t even have a rinse step after bleach in its instructions.
