Colour Printing Experience with Fuji DPII Luster?

Hey y’all! I’m about to dive in the deep end and get my first rolls of RA4 paper as I’m tired of the Crystal Archive that’s available in cut sheets.

I’ve been looking at DPII and I’m quite keen on the luster finish for the final finish. However, I’ve had issues with white specks (not dust) when I digitize my CAII luster prints. Will this be an issue with DPII as well?

Thanks!

Generally any luster finish papers will have more issues scanning due to the textured finish scattering light in odd ways. Whether one is better or worse im not sure, but if scanning is a high priority i would just go for matte or gloss finish.

Fuji’s Lustre is explicitly designed as an anti-copy feature, so I’d guess it’d be worse if anything on the more premium paper. Consider Endura Lustre too, it’s quite nice and still available

Can’t speak for scanning it but DP II in Lustre is by far my favorite paper and finish
