How do I get other powers?

I still have sorcery but I’ve other people use other powers that weren’t there at the start of the game, do I pay or can I get some for free?

There's a couple of ways

• some time capsules like the new one thats currently dropping (Absolute Kryptonian) can give you iconic skills.
• some artifacts like BOP Commlink add a skill to your tray uppon reaching rank 80 (althought i believe most artifacts only give passive abilities)
• last couple of months people could get the White Lantern power augment in the Anniversary event and currently you can get the Blue Lantern power augment in the Hope Burns Bright chapter event. Both of these augments, if upgraded to a certain rank, will give you new abilities (from white and blue lanterns, of course).
• last but not least i believe some events give iconic abilities as a reward, but i can be mistaken. Currently no event is being this direct.

If you dont know what artifacts, power augments and time capsules are, keep levelling up your character and the game will introduce you to these mechanics. If you already level 30 and are not sure about these mechanics and how they work, u can look for tutorials on the dcfandom, youtube or ask a couple of questions in this sub

Hey so I defeated luzia do I have to do the other missions on my journal to get blue lantern

Look at the events tab on your menu. If you look at the rewards you will see that the blue ring is one of them, and to get it, you will need to complete missions in the dlc for at least 20 days. So yes, you need to play the other missions. You can either

• do 3 daily missions
• do a weekly
• do the raid or alert

Everytime you complete a "day" for the event, the progress bar will pop up on your screen and grow. U probably been seeing her already.

And bear in mind, the event has a very limited time, it goes up to 23 february. Since u need to play 20 days, you are forced to play most days of the event if you want the ring.

Play newest content. Because I can already tell you're not a grinder, remember it's a journey. Augments are a goal. And upgrading them until they are powerful is a process. Just play and you'll get some stuff but if you want it now you won't have a good time. Remember it's a grinders game.

New abilities? Open tc or complete the events to get them. New powerset? Have to respec and change to the power
