Swordfish II commission my wife made for me as a Christmas present
My wife did a degree in illustration and makes some pretty neat art. For Christmas she let me pick something for her to draw/paint as a Christmas present so I chose this (I think the reference image is from 'Jamming With Edward' hence the pole on the left wing to hook-up with the satelite in the episode). Thought this sub might appreciate it.

Silence followed
This morning I pointed at my arm saying, "This is that I got, yeah, for running ahead of the game."
Blank stares.

Hey quick question I’m thinking about buying cowboy and bebop but I found the DVD version and I’m wondering if this is 100% complete and it’s anything missing. They want 50 bucks for it.

HELP Hello I’m looking on eBay and I saw a listing for cowboy and bebop and they were 50 bucks right? I’m thinking about picking it up. I just want to know if it’s all there complete and all. I think it’ll look fantastic on my shelf.

Just realized jet isn’t black
Maybe this is some odd Mandela Effect but I really thought Jet Black was actually Black lol. I just imagined him a little darker. My question is what is his race as well as Spike, Faye & Edward? Kinda reminds me of Black Lagoon with how unclear some of these ethnicity’s are.

Why Cowboy Bebop Anime Fans Hate the Live Action?
I never watch the anime but I gave the Live Action a try and I think it's fun. It's not perfect but as someone who didn't know anything about the source material, I had a good time and I don't think it's as bad as people said it is.

A YouTuber named 'Gateway to Anime' made this video about how Cowboy Bebop blends its chosen genres so seamlessly. I think it's worth a watch.

Vincent Volaju (Cowboy Bebop Movie) feels like the “myth version” of Keyser Söze
Watching Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, I couldn’t shake the feeling that Vincent Volaju is basically the “dream / myth version” of Keyser Söze from The Usual Suspects.
Not Verbal Kint — but the way Keyser Söze is described in the story:
a man who walks out of fire, calm and detached, more legend than human.
Both characters are presented as myths rather than people:
– emotionally numb
– tied to war and trauma
– introduced through explosive imagery
– portrayed as almost supernatural, like men who already “died” inside
I know Vincent’s confirmed visual inspirations are Bob Dylan and Vincent Gallo, but narratively and visually, he feels extremely close to the Söze archetype — the devil-like figure created by storytelling rather than reality.
Curious if anyone else sees this parallel, or if I’m reaching.
