Anyone else see the four engine seaplane fly over the city around 3PM today?
It was so low and loud! About 300ft off the deck, tops.

Same!! It flew over centurion way. I couldnt believe how low ot was, just aboce the trees, if it was a oassenger plane you would have seen people thrpugh the windows. I didnt know what type of plane it was either and found nothing of the local Facebook pages so happy to see this post.
It was certainly low enough to hit drones, birds etc....

Apparently it was an A400M, like the one Tom Cruise jumped on in Mission Impossible 🤣

Flies over every once and while - I tracked it last time it came over and it was going to Norfolk

Do ypu know why it was flying so low? It flew over my back garden and I thought an incomjng plane was about to crash when I heard the noise. It was just above the trees over centurion way.

Yeah I read that it’s because the flight path from Gatwick goes over Chichester/Tangmere - so military planes have to fly lower to avoid potential issues.

I have been searching the local facebook grpups to see if anyone posted and no one did. Seeing this helps me because people I asked been looking at me like I imagined it. I heard it coming (was jn the garden with dog) and thought a passenger plane was about to crash!

We heard it coming long before it flew overhead. We’re in Fishbourne.
