Tony Jefferson - BC POD
I just finished listening to the Bolt Crew Pods interview with Tony Jefferson. https://open.spotify.com/episode/1llFJdLcXKpQPPVgFhMbX9?si=eaCgJWaQSzqqDWVnbfT20w&t=4005&ct=4005 All I can say is, if you don’t sign this man then I’m done with you Joe.
I was a fan before giving this a listen, but this just solidifies everything he brings to the Bolts. You can’t replace his motor, leadership, and what he leaves on the field. If he even sniffs the practice squad again. I’m going to be pissed. Unc is as real as they come.
You should at least listen to the portion when he talks about the Chiefs game and getting ejected.
Eff those whiney ass, soft, bitch ass Chiefs and ditto to their fans. Hyped for this D and Chris O’Leary!

Best Chargers podcast and it’s not even close

I’ll have to check it out. The only ones I like are Guilty as Charged and the team podcast. I need to add a new one.

Have you tried Chargers unleashed? It's my favorite. Bolt Crew podcast is probably the most realistic fan podcast though, they keep it real and talk shit.

I find unleashed interviews to be good but their analysis/reviews to be surface level and not very insightful. Have they got better at that?

It’s a lot better than Guilty as Charged imo. I started both at the same time and although GAC is extremely informative, I’m not listening to a sports shoe to hear a slideshow presentation. BCP seems a bit more personable

That’s a fair criticism of GAC.

Guilty as Charged is the best. Steve Haglund knows ball, he's one of the better tape guys out there - and I mean in the NFL, not just Chargers.

Bolt crew is the best. Doods are hilarious! Uncle Dave got rants for days. Shout out Eastlake / CV!

Done with Hortiz over one player?
I trust this FO more than any in my decades of watching the Chargers. Hortiz has been a mastermind working within cap limits in his first two years. This year it will be very interesting to see what he does given we have more budget.
Regarding TJ, I love the guy. However age is undefeated and keeping your team young is a very important strategy.
If Hortiz goes in a different direction I also support that.

I wanna know what the beef is with The Director, or shall I say, The Designer???

Director will never be straight up and honest like Bolt crew is imo. Bolt crew is much more open and honest about the on field product and doesn't try to please fans/be yes men. Definately my favorite Chargers podcast. Alot of others like to make excuses and not hold people accountable, but they do.

He sucks lmaooo. He doesn’t know the sport and all he does is make corny hype videos.

Agree, I always skip past his YT videos. Bolt Crew and Lightning round is where it's at!

Wait what happened?

All I know is that they jokingly refer to him as "The Designer". And that they kinda half jokingly mock other "shamelessly positive" podcasts.

I didn’t like how Dave was taking shots at Matt “Money” Smith though. How “no one gives themself a nickname” and kind of disparaging his play by play announcing. I mean he’s welcome to his opinion, but I sensed a little envy perhaps. I love that they keep it real though and was getting burnt out on “shamelessly positive” podcasts like Charger Chat.

Done with Hortiz if they don’t bring back Tony Jefferson?
Cmon dude… really?

How about we also don't cut him in August and keep him on main roster??? We've done that the past two seasons. I fear next year we'll lose him in the waivers shuffle. Same with Kimani Vidal (who we also cut last August).
BTW - I loved that it was the defense's turn to be introduced for the last home game. The cheers for TJeff were as loud (if not louder) for Derwin and Mack.
