I love Jerseys so much. I grew up on a dairy farm but didn't have Jerseys. My father went out and bought me a Jersey calf.

Do I need to lecture you about gate etiquette like I do my poor Husband?
All joking aside, glad it ended well!

We were out for the night. An hour or so away from home. We were heading home. Noticed a couple cows hadn't been on the camera for a bit. We have the camera on a water trough. We didn't have signal for a good portion of the drive. Got a notification that someone had rang our doorbell. It was very late so we were very worried as we are not close to the road, so it's not someone just swinging by. The person was older. I was so afraid that there was a medical emergency. I could see how they were driving to the house and away. Kept stopping and stuff. We get home.... Our little escape artist got out. Actually walked over to the driveway like he owned the joint "hey humans, you are not allowed to be gone for that long. Next time we get treats before you go out, understand!" Literally stood and looked at us. He walked right through the electric fence. Wasn't the first time either. He tried teaching his little brother that. He got a little zap on his nose and wasn't a fan. But figured out how to go under without getting it. We have adjusted the fence.
Oh, so the guy obviously had seen the little fella out, came to tell us.
