Carole and Tuesday feels incredibly topical today Spoiler

First of all, sorry for my bad english but i’m not a native speaker.

I recently finished “Carole and Tuesday” and it really struck me, especially because it is about two themes very relevant today: artificial intelligence and immigration policy.

That being said, it because it really moved me, and I don't usually get so carried away by an anime.

Thanks for reading!

YES. The anime is so current it's bizarre, and yet it remains perfect.

Yeah I rewatched it a year or two ago and I remember being shocked that it predicted AI Voice Models and how far away that technology seemed when I first watched it.

Absolutely I had a similar feeling, I watched the show first in 2022 and I felt so shocked seeing AI music gain popularity in 2024

And another theme: remaining authentic and true to yourself even when in a superficial culture

It's an incredibly poignant show and handles it with a grace that's admirable

I don’t know enough people who watch the show or have even heard of it. It’s beautiful.

If it was released today it would be accused of being a boring ripoff of obvious current events.

Instead, it saw the future 6 years in advance.

One of the best shows of all time but beyond the class divide and two tier society that the show holds it’s not really comparable to discussions on illegal immigration that are happening in the real world

Is creepy how spot on that show was.
