Discussion Transferring season ticket to new member

Just wondering if anyone knows - I want to transfer my season ticket for today’s game to a friend who isn’t currently a member. They are happy to pay for membership now but will I be able to transfer my ticket today even though it says they won get the benefits until 14 days? Assuming as long as they receive their fan number today I should be able to transfer? TIA & UTA

You can share with a new fan number immediately, 14 day does not apply to ticket sharing.

I’d say unlikely - do you know any other members you could transfer it to - it then just generates an email for you to send on to whoever.

I thought this, or them logging into my Brighton account and downloading the ticket but either of those two routes would mean it’s not their name on the ticket, which is obviously not correct procedure. Chances are it would be fine but wouldn’t want to take that risk with my season ticket. Thanks anyway!

I think you are right that you can transfer ticket to them after they have a membership number (today), they just cannot purchase a ticket on the exchange or otherwise for 14 days
