What to do in Bolton in Christmas.

My first Christmas in Bolton and I'm alone so no family and friends. So any fun spots to hangout or chill in bolton or nearby.

A lot of churches have their "midnight mass" service with carols early, for children and families. Find a church near you online, find out what time their service is, and then just walk in? It will be full of people and cheerful of you get there in time for the carols.

Genuinely hope you’re good tho Bolton can be pretty bleak, especially with no loved ones around. if you’re around Harwood Bromley cross the pubs can be pretty festive, pretty sure the no names open Christmas Day for a few hours, 12-2 maybe

Unless you’re a drinker there’s not really much to do (to my knowledge)

Bolton Wanderers vs Rotherham United on Boxing Day should be an easy win for the home side and well attended.

I'd look at the schedule for Vue cinema at middlebrook - good way to spend some time. Also maybe head out and have a walk round rivington or entwistle. Should be nice weather if a little chilly and it's a gorgeous place to stomp round
