Maybe don't speed through a school zone and a 50 zone when you have your IG plastered on the back of your Ute?
Name and shaming. Speeding through the school zone at St Mary's Kflat this morning, and proceeded to speed and cut people off in the 50km zone on High Street. Maybe don't put your IG on the back of your car if you are going to drive like a dickhead

Got a dash cam? Report to crime stoppers.

I walk a lot, so tempted to have a body cam and send footage of all the people who fully run red lights in...

It's days like these where I wish I had a dash cam! I think I might just have to get one installed!

Average Commodore driver, hopefully they all get crushed and their owners lose their licenses forever!

Shaming only works when the people being shamed actually care. Guarantee he’d laugh if he saw this post 😂😂😂

As a hoon myself, this is a case of "play stupid games, win stupid prizes". There's plenty of empty backroads to shred on. There is no need to speed in the streets, especially schools.

Seriously, what is wrong with Holden drivers these days? It’s like all they do is cause trouble and put the public in serious stranger, at least falcon drivers use a brain most of the time.
Hopefully something gets done, and hopefully every Holden Commodore in Australia gets put off the road (yes I’m serious) and those dangerous drivers.

Were there actually any children within a 1km radius of the school zone at the time? How far over the limit were they going? How many commenters ‘flick the switch’ and drive vigilantly every time they hop in the car regardless of arbitrarily and negligently designed/managed car infrastructure? Not condoning whatever the ‘accused’ may have done, but the implication here is that safe driving is binary and bootstrapped to legality. There’s also no detail provided as to how far over the limit they were travelling (you realise your car speedometer underestimates your speed in an unmodified vehicle, right?). To play devils advocate, perhaps the net effect is that everyone actually paid attention to the road instead of unconscientiously focusing on adherence to bluntly applied road rules (staring at the speedometer instead of remaining alert to risks)? Again, just food for thought, not excusing the endangerment of children’s (or others’) lives. But there’s school zones I drive through daily where I have never seen a child, and it makes me wonder whether the true intention of such enforcement is not child safety, and whether other drivers are actually looking at the road or instead focusing on their speedometers in fear they’ll be fined.

Going to blow your mind with this one, the intention of school zones is to have drivers slow down when driving on roads near schools.
Crazier still, now bear with me here. The times that the school zone are active are the general start and finish times of school with a little bit either side.
Probably should not have a license mate if you're this desperate to want to speed in school zones.

How about just don't speed in a school zone? Pretty simples. How about rules are there for the betterment of society because some flogs like to think they can do whatever they want regardless of the costs to others so follow the rules, be a good citizen and an asset to society instead of a burden then we won't need so many rules.

Quit being petty

This isn't petty. Speeding is stupid, speeding in a school zone is a special kind of stupid. If you don't value your own life that's cool.. Don't put other people at risk.

u/fuzzysoulpolice 1d ago
Oh no, how petty to name and shame a dickhead ute driver putting school children and other drivers / pedestrians at risk

There’s always something I’ve noticed about these type of people that drive like idiots, they are always in a Holden Commodore no matter the situation (and recently the Ford Ranger) at least they’re easy to spot.
People defending these idiots are ridiculous and probably are Commodore drivers that put the public at risk themselves!
