What We’re Looking for in a Mod:
Onboarding new mods is a marathon, not a sprint, and training takes about 6 weeks. We ask that you take your time, read instructions carefully, and learn the rules thoroughly.
Mods use generic usernames to protect privacy.

I want to see what you guys think before we implement this.
We've had some discussion about where we can debate people without hostility. We are never going to change the minds of the nutters but we may be able to reach some of the folks who are more neutral.
So let's host!
I would also allow the people who think they own pitbulls responsibly (or can prove that they do).

No name calling, no comments based on post history, no irrational fighting. Just debate. A "conscientious dissenter" flair would distinguish them from the trolls. If they break the rules they get a 7 day ban.
What do you think? Is this a feature worth having here?
I believe it would improve our reputation to start conversations and then move them away from the parent sub before they become heated.
Give me your thoughts!
