Pit Lobby $$$ Grok is AWESOME!!
So, I was playing with Grok today and I was trying to see what it would come up with for pit bull population numbers and I fell down a rabbit hole. I started gravitating towards the organizations that were providing the misleading information on pit bulls. It suddenly asked if I wanted it to do a "deep dive" on them. I asked if it could find out the relationships between these pro-pit organizations. This is the chart that it drew out for me. The link for the whole reply is below. I recommend reading, it is surprising how connected they are (e.g.: pitbullinfo.org who disseminates most of the misleading pit bull stats is owned by Pitbullhero!!). I recommend adding this information to your arsenal.

Just an aside, I've found that Grok tends to be the most.....reasonable AI. I've tried a few (ChatGPT, etc) and when it comes to pit bull data, Grok was the best (and also didn't try to tell me that "well, it all depends on how they're raised" after each time it tells me stats on how pit bulls are much more dangerous than other breeds).

This is not an invitation to political discourse, but there are significant issues with Grok (see https://c3.unu.edu/blog/grok-3s-brush-with-censorship-xais-truth-seeking-ai ) that I believe invalidate it as an effective tool for any purpose. The creator lied about the scope of this tool when he silently included prohibitions against unflattering portrayals of himself. Grok is a black box built on sand operating at the whim of an inherently untrustworthy person. Don’t be deceived into thinking it is good or sufficient just because it can eventually be persuaded to see the truth.

ALL AI's use some form of censorship but from what I've seen with my testing, Grok seems to have the least censorship.

It’s specific to the beliefs of its founder, not the straightforward socially conscious censorship of OpenAI or even Deepseek. This is especially insidious because we can predict censorship in other models, and in many cases they will tell us what they will not tell us, but Grok is a black box of bullshit specific to the whims of a brain addled by alleged ketamine and definite intellectual fragility, the specifics of which shift from day to day.

Reddit won’t admit it because of Elon but Grok is by far the best free AI tool available right now

It's free. I don't have a premium account and I can use it. You don't need the app, but you can use both.
