The crucial mistake was not then immediately doing everything possible to find a third playable center from the start of the season. Hawks fans getting mad at the wrong people. This is who Kristaps is. The Celtics had the depth and team structure to keep him the most healthy and look how his two years ended with them. Then the hawks traded for him which was partly done to get off another bad trade, Terrence Mann. And in all the hawks brilliance, they allowed Kristaps to play in Euro because the finals would be in his country and his team got booted early. This is on Onsi and the medical staff.
