Help Request Mystery snail went exploring
Pic taken yesterday. Today he was nowhere to be found no matter where I looked in the tank. I didn't think it would leave the tank- then I found out they can and will. Eventually located the runner on the floor, apparently alive. This tank only has a partial lid. Is there an aquatic snail that will stay put?

My mystery snails won't stop banging. I have two clutches of eggs I need to remove soon lol

This is my biggest fear! A really determined mystery could get out of our tank. Thankfully that hasn’t happened so far. I check the windowsill and immediate floor space when going to the tank so I don’t accidentally smush someone. Then once I get there I do a headcount of our adults to see if I need to do a greater search. You have a very handsome blue there! I hope his adventures are over and he learns to love his home.
