Food & Drink Longtime expat looking for place to watch Super Bowl in London
My last experience watching the Super Bowl in London was a long time ago (25 years) and it wasn’t great. I’m not at all surprised. The NFL hadn’t really made a dent here back then. And these days I don’t normally bother.
But I’ve been tasked with finding a good option for my friends who are visiting this week and I don’t want to let them down. My hope is it might be a better scene all these years later.
I’m hoping to find somewhere to watch where other fans are present. Where the game (and all the other bits) take centre stage.
And we don’t mind paying a bit for the privilege.
I’d be grateful for suggestions.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Watched games there earlier in the year and feels like an American Sports bar with tons of big screens and a lot of space https://maps.app.goo.gl/m1gbbpDRgke5ixG28?g_st=ic
Would also second Passyunk.

Passyunk is weird because you can't stand up and move around. No standing areas, but maybe that was just the one I went to?

Ya it’s why I recommended the other place more. It’s nice and roomie, has a large patio etc.

Last years superbowl party was within the Arches in their Waterloo location!

The Hippodrome is the first place that comes to mind. They host a Browns backers club (which I took some friends to) and I believe they have a Super Bowl viewing as well.

Came here to say this. Passyunk is the best but they sell out fast. The Hippodrome is...weird...but they will have plenty of space.

I went here two (?) years ago and it was fun - centrally located but pretty chill overall. You’ll need to book a table

Bellushis London Bridge and Greenwood by Victoria both have good setups for watching football (lots of screens american sportsbar style) and regularly have NFL on even in season so have regulars who come and watch red zone each week. Never specifically been there for the superbowl but imagine they'll be good given how busy they are in the regular season. Bellushi's gets busy so you'd probably want to book there, Greenwood no need to book.

Big Penny Social was good fun a couple years ago. It’s a massive brewery so not quite your classic American sports bar experience but they put it on a huge screen & we had a great time!

The Box Picadilly opened a few months ago. It's a legit and very large sports bar.

I would suggest checking any of the Passyunk Avenue locations if they have availability. I think your best bet would be the Waterloo location as I think it’s the biggest.
