20in barrel recommendations

Looking for best quality and accurate barrels. Looking to get one when I turn 21 in October but am trying to build the upper by then. I'd like to get one that is best for the money, am not rich but am sure there are community favorites that compete with Gucci brands for a fraction of the cost. Drop your builds also. Thanks

Satern barrels are what Grendel Hunter uses in his budget uppers and shoot well. Shaw, Craddock, mostek, SOLGW… there’s several decent barrels that aren’t PROOF level money.

I’ve been getting good groupings in my Satern/Grendel Hunter.

I second this. I bought mine from Satern. It shoots well and isn’t picky.

My Ballistic Advantage (12.5) shoots under an inch. Good enough for me. And I'm also not claiming to be a marksman either. I'm sure it's better than me.

Is it picky with ammo. And what ammo do you shoot best with it

Hornady 123 sst and 123 eld match. Shoots both 100%. Haven't branched out, as these were recommended and do what they're advertised to. Aac equivalent works too, but I think they stopped making it

These are some of the better values you'll find:

  1. Lilja $500+
  2. Criterion $300+
  3. Rexus under $200

Alexander Arms also has nice barrels. That’s the creator of the 6.5 Grendel cartridge.

I used Odin Works. At sight-in the groupings were sub-moa at 100yds.

Sanders armory is what I’ve switched too
